The Palm Court Karate Centre in Weltevreden Park celebrated its 20 year anniversary as one of the top Karate Dojo’s in Gauteng. The School was established in 1993 by Sensei Mario Sequeira (5th Dan) and has grown from strength to strength In Its 20 year History Palm court Karate has excelled in sport Karate and produced several South African Champions and Protea’s with several of its students representing South Africa on the world stage and over 200 quality Blackbelts and more than 10 internationally qualified instuctors.
The Dojo prides its self on its traditional roots and although the accolades have always been welcome the dojo’s only goal is to teach authentic Karate-do and in doing so, produce outstanding future leaders .
Sensei Mario Sequeira has travelled extensively around the world, training with some of the most influential instructors of our generation and continually studying and learning the art of Okinawan Goju-ryu.
